The Head Start mobile application app brings the tools and resources of the Early Childhood Learning and Knowledge Center ECLKC right to your fingertips on your data-connected phone or tablet!

Use the app to find the latest resources, the most popular videos, and search the ECLKC for more tools and information from OHS and the National Centers. Download the free Head Start mobile app from Google Play or iTunes and use the features described below to start exploring!

App Features

News: Scrolling banners highlight major OHS initiatives and important events and conferences. Find the newest resources posted to the ECLKC. Select the links to discover tips and strategies for working with young children, engaging families, and improving program quality.

Search: Explore Head Start-related topics. Results are pulled directly from the ECLKC. The most common Head Start search terms are already listed for easy reference.

Locator: Allow the app to use your current location or enter a zip code or address to find local Head Start and Early Head Start programs.

Video: Watch new and popular streaming videos directly from your phone or tablet. Find webcasts and podcasts related to OHS priorities like school readiness, professional development, program governance, and safe and healthy families.
