Head Start’s 11th National Research Conference

Head Start’s 11th National Research Conference will be held June 18-20, 2012 at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, D.C. The theme of this year’s Conference is Research on Young Children and Families: Effective Practices in an Age of Diversity and Change. The Conference will present the latest research examining the processes that foster young children’s success.

Here is a sample of some of the research sessions being offered at this year’s conference:

  • Coaching and Mentoring: Key Ingredients for Moving Evidence-Based Early Education into High Fidelity Implementation
  • Individualizing Children’s Learning Experiences through Tiered Models of Instruction: The Latest Research
  • Strengthening Services for Families-in-Transition: Homeless, Transnational and Migrant Families
